Marc Mena
With over ten years of beauty and grooming experience as a premier stylist, Marc Mena is one of New York’s foremost experts in the business.
Of Mexican, Spanish and Native American descent, Marc was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Marc knew at a young age that he was not only an artist but destined to be at the top of his game. Upon his arrival to New York, Marc was immediately recognized by Edward Tricomi, principal owner of the Warren-Tricomi Salon, the go-to hair salon for New York City’s elite located at the Plaza Hotel. Marc studied directly under Edward Tricomi himself, a master stylist who is known for his ability to describe and reproduce hundreds of years of hair fashion.
Marc is amongst the top Senior Stylists at the Warren-Tricomi Salon. He uses a unique dry-cut technique that involves a special skill in styling and sculpting the hair.
Coupled with his dry-cutting technique, Marc has notably mastered the art of hair extensions. His process begins with an exchange of vision and desired style between him and his client. Marc provides choices of hair types in every length, volume and texture as well as offering a multitude of natural color combinations. His hair extensions are made of human hair (not synthetic) and when placed strategically with a client’s own hair it lengthens and thickens it. This gentle process is based on a special technique of heat bonding and modulating. Marc has perfected an extremely high-tech method of bonding between the strand and the clients own hair resulting in beautiful, luxurious hair with no damage.
Marc Mena, in both the Warren-Tricomi Salon and in his freelance work, has attracted a large celebrity clientele including Katie Lee Joel, Mario Lopez, Beth Ostrovsky, Christy Brinkley, Rachael Ray, Billy Joel, Ivanka Trump, Marcia Gay Harden and Mario Vasquez to name a few.
Marc is currently a spokesperson for Garnier and makes frequent TV and special event appearances in the US and Latin America.
