The Vincent Longo Makeup-Artist Philosophy
Beauty makeup artists have a special gift – the permission to share a “beauty-dream” with EVERY face they touch. Our artistry becomes magic when the transformation of a face brings that “beauty-dream” to life. As makeup-artists WE strive to empower all women with a beauty look that becomes their own special magic. Beauty is personality and makeup is the tool of enhancement and transformation – Vincent

Vincent Longo was born to Italian parents in Swan Hill, Australia, on the fringes of the majestic outback. Growing up surrounded by dramatic landscapes and inspirational nature, Vincent developed an early eye for color. To this day, the unique beauty of Australia continues to inspire his artistry on many levels.
During his late teens, Vincent’s family left Australia, returning to the Italian Riviera. Vincent immediately enrolled at the prestigious Makeup-Studio of Milan, where upon graduation he worked with Italy’s leading designers including Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, Franco Moschino and Gianfranco Ferre.

Quickly recognized for his creativity and inventiveness with both editorial and runway makeup, Vincent was lured to New York where he immediately started working with world renowned photographers including: Patrick Demarchelier, Gilles Bensimon, Francesco Scavullo, Horst, Richard Avedon, Bruce Weber and Walter Chin. This was the beginning of the glamorous Supermodel era. During this period, Vincent created famous “face designs” for legendary models including Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klum, Eva Herzigova, Patricia Velasquez, Elle McPherson and Alessandra Ambrosio. He immediately landed high profile magazine covers and fashion stories at, Italian Vogue, British Vogue, American Vogue, French Vogue, Glamour, W, Marie Claire, Elle and Vanity Fair, among others. During this time, Vincent was also the Contributing Beauty Editor at Elle Magazine and worked as the spokesperson, master makeup artist and product consultant for, respectively, Revlon, Estee Lauder and Elizabeth Arden.

In 1994, frustrated at the lack of “rich, vibrant color” available on the market, Vincent began mixing and blending his own unique color hues in his kitchen. The Vincent Longo cosmetics line was officially born. Virtually overnight, Vincent’s celebrity friends, clients and fashion insiders gravitated toward this bold new use of cutting-edge color and high quality product. Using breakthrough technology [unrivaled to this day], Vincent expanded his initial assortment, developing patented award winning products including, his last and final curated collection for Spring/Summer 2014.

Vincent continues to work as a freelance makeup artist on photo shoots and with beauty icons, Royals and celebrities including: Mrs. Hillary Clinton, Michelle Williams, Claire Danes, Courtney Cox, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kris Jenner, Mena Suvari, Molly Sims, Rinko Kikuchi, Bridget Moynahan, Christina Ricci, Sigourney Weaver, Sissy Spacek, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Jewel, Celine Dion, Candice Bergen, Bernadette Peters, Catherine Deneuve, Sharon Stone, Elizabeth Hurley, Monica Bellucci, Paulina Rubio and Lisa Marie Presley.
