Born and raised in the South of France, Frederic Boudet knew by the age of 4, that he wanted to be a hairstylist. He began his career working for Francoise Vigroux and Rene Page, both affiliated with CACF (Comite Artistique de Coiffure Francaise). After much success in France, Frederic left for New York City where Frederic Fekkai quickly hired him. At the salon, Frederic became an assistant to Mr. Fekkai, along with respected stylists Michel Aleman and Didier Malige. In addition, he was able to work alongside top colorist Constance Harnett whom Frederic looks at as an inspiration and revelation. From Constance, Frederic learned that creating the perfect natural combination of colors enhances the cut by adding dimension, volume and shine.

Currently, Frederic’s career is split between editorial/commercial work, fashion shows and the Takamichi Hair Salon. Frederic’s philosophy on hair is to cut, color and style in a way that emphasizes the natural beauty of his clients. He puts this philosophy to the test everyday on high profile clients including: Sigourney Weaver, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Beil and Michelle Williams.

Frederic resides in New York City.
